Special Election for the 37th Senate Seat

In a move full of class, Dana Stephenson resigned her post as state senator. A seat she was never able to officially hold because of a legal challenge by loser, Virginia Woodward. Dana figured it was better to step down than continue a legal challenge in federal courts after suffering a recent defeat at the hands of the Kentucky Supreme Court. In that decision, the court over ruled the state senate by stating that senators do not have the power to seat whichever member they want. Instead they made up a lame ruling where neither Dana nor Virginia could hold the seat. This overreach of power by the court means that Kentucky no longer has three equal but separate branches of government. Instead, Kentucky has two branches which exist under the overlords of the court.

Of course Virginia Woodward lost the election with as much class as Marcs Vick showed in the Gator Bowl on Jan 2nd. Instead of congratulating the winner she filed a law suit with hopes of stealing a seat she couldn't win at the ballot box. Depriving the citizens of the 37th a representative in Frankfort. To top off her shameless acts, Virginia stated how she hoped to be nominated for the special election on Feb 14th. The Democrats should nominate her because she is an ideal representative of the classlessness the Democrats have consistently displayed since they have been dislodged from power in Frankfort.
