Sliming Of Gov Palin

I have to give the media credit. They have successfully slimed Gov Sarah Palin. All of the vitriol and outright hatred they have directed towards her has done its damage. Her approval numbers are down. Even in this biased poll, her numbers are no where near where they would be without the constant smears by the main stream media.

Here is what I want to know. Where were all these media who doubt her ability to lead because she is experienced four years ago when the true light weight, John Edwards, was given the nod for VP? He was completely unqualified to be VP. He was more of a light weight than Dan Quayle ever was. I don't remember all of the vitriol pointed towards him? I don't remember the scare tactics back then either?

But what really pisses me off the most is the complete lack of reporting on Obama, the current light weight presidential candidate. The least prepared candidate in the history of this country. At least Gov Palin has executive experience. She has experience standing up to her party. She has worked with Canada to get a pipe line into the continental US. She has experience and a record of getting things done.

What the hell kind of experience does Obama have? Can anyone tell me ANYTHING he has ever done? Can anyone tell me anything he has authored other than his two memoirs. I want someone to point me to anywhere he has stood up against his own party especially the corrupt Chicago machine politics. I want someone to point me to anywhere he has reached across the isle on an issue that didn't already have broad bi-partisan support.

All I can remember is when Obama backed out from his one true foray into bi-partisan legislation. It was a bill on lobbying reform with McCain. Here is the letter from McCain to Obama after Obama backed out on McCain.

I would like to apologize to you for assuming that your private assurances to me regarding your desire to cooperate in our efforts to negotiate bipartisan lobbying reform legislation were sincere. When you approached me and insisted that despite your leadership’s preference to use the issue to gain a political advantage in the 2006 elections, you were personally committed to achieving a result that would reflect credit on the entire Senate and offer the country a better example of political leadership, I concluded your professed concern for the institution and the public interest was genuine and admirable. Thank you for disabusing me of such notions with your letter to me dated February 2, 2006, which explained your decision to withdraw from our bipartisan discussions. I’m embarrassed to admit that after all these years in politics I failed to interpret your previous assurances as typical rhetorical gloss routinely used in politics to make self-interested partisan posturing appear more noble. Again, sorry for the confusion, but please be assured I won’t make the same mistake again.

When someone with real record of bipartisan supports calls you out, then you don't get to claim the mantle of "bipartisanship". The reality is Obama's 13 months in the U.S. Senate were unremarkable. His only accomplishment is to compile the most liberal voting record in congress. That is his sole achievement. I wonder why the press hasn't issued concerns over his extreme liberalism?

So please tell me what Lord Barack has done. Where is his foreign policy experience? Hell, he never even called a meeting of the subcommittee on NATO oversight in Afghanistan. His foreign policy experience is that he has traveled around the world and gave a speech in Berlin. I guess that means I have enough foreign policy experience to be president. Give me a freaking break.

Where is his executive experience? He doesn't have any. He is an empty liberal vessel who has done nothing to qualify himself for president other than his ability to give a speech in front of a teleprompter.

And another thing, while the media continues to dumpster dive trying to find dirt on Gov Palin, why don't' the look into Obama's shady past. Where are all of the stories about his relationships to convicted felon Rezko? What other relationships did he have to the corrupt Chicago machine? How about his working relationships with terrorist William Ayers at ACORN? How about some more details on his 20 year relationship with Rev "God Damn America" Wright? What about stories on the inequality of women's pay within his senate office? I am sure the media will turn a blind eye to all of it.

There is a legitimate chance that we might elect this horribly unqualified man president, and the media refuses to do their job. We will never get the real story on this "Messiah". All we are going to get is pro-Obama propaganda from the media and an ongoing effort to trash someone who actually has done something with her time in government. Someone who has actually gotten results. It is enough to make me sick.

I also never want to hear another word from feminists on how poorly they are treated in this "patriarchal" society. Especially those who are enabling the media in their attempt to destroy Palin. They are letting one of their fellow women be destroyed because she doesn't share their liberal orthodoxy. What little credibility they have on women's issues are gone forever. They have ceded any moral ground they may have had.

I think that about sums it up for me. Have a nice day!
