Julie Denton's Son Killed In Car Crash

State Senator Julie Denton's son was killed in a car crash in Lexington yesterday.
The younger son of Kentucky Senator Julie Denton, R-Louisville, died early yesterday in a one-car accident in Lexington.I remember playing with Taylor when he was just a pup while working on Julie's 1994 Senate campaign. He always seemed like a good kid to me. The world is a poorer place without him. My prayers go out to the Rose and Denton families in thier time of grief.
Taylor Rose, 19, was exiting I-75 onto Newtown Pike at a high rate of speed when his car struck a tree, Lexington Police Lieutenant Scott Blakely said. The accident was reported at 2:27 a.m.
